Where our story started. Polzeath beach offers peaks across the bay, lefts to the south and a right that breaks off Pentire Point in bigger swells. On flat days, this bay at high tide is perfect for stand up paddle boarding. Polzeath is good for all surfing abilities and popular with beginners in summer.

The home of British surfing is split into two parts: north and south. The north side of Fistral features an iconic break with long walling peaks and a long left that breaks off the rocks. The south side picks up less swell thanks to Pentire Headland, but has the advantage of some shelter in a southwesterly wind. This beach is always busy with advanced surfers out back, and beginners on foamies on the inside. Be sure to watch out for rips here.
