Our warranties only apply to Wetsuits purchased from authorised Rip Curl retailers (with purchase receipt from an authorised retailer).

Not covered by warranty:
- Damage caused by anything other than defects in materials or workmanship.
- Use in commercial, rental, teaching or instructional programs or activities.
- Damage caused by extended or excessive exposure to sunlight, improper handling or storage, or failure to follow instruction provided with this product.
- This product when classified as being second-hand or it is being sold as a product with existing defects.
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches and fading.
- Wetsuits repaired by other repair service.

Alder
Alder Sportswear offers a one year guarantee on all their products against faulty workmanship and materials. This guarantee is valid to the original retail consumer purchaser only and a proof of purchase will be required.
If a product is found to be defective due to a manufacturing failure Alder Sportswear will repair or replace, at their discretion, any defective part. Please return the item to the Alder authorized dealer along with a valid receipt for assessment.
Billabong
Billabong warrants wetsuits to be free of defects in material or workmanship when purchased from an authorized dealer. All wetsuits come with a limited 2-year warranty on stitching, all materials, workmanship and liquid welded seams, from the date purchased.
All Billabong Wetsuit Accessories (Booties, hoods and gloves) come with a limited 3-month warranty on workmanship and materials
Billabong is not liable for any damages, losses and/or costs incurred resulting from the loss or usage of our products. Repaired or replaced products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty.
Roxy
Roxy warrants wetsuits to be free of defects in material or workmanship when purchased from an authorized dealer. All wetsuits come with a limited 2-year warranty on stitching, all materials, workmanship and liquid welded seams, from the date purchased.
Roxy is not liable for any damages, losses and/or costs incurred resulting from the loss or usage of our products. Repaired or replaced products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty.
Quiksilver
Quiksilver warrants wetsuits to be free of defects in material or workmanship when purchased from an authorized dealer. All wetsuits come with a limited 2-year warranty on stitching, all materials, workmanship and liquid welded seams, from the date purchased.
Quiksilver is not liable for any damages, losses and/or costs incurred resulting from the loss or usage of our products. Repaired or replaced products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty.
Xcel
At Xcel, we pride ourselves on the highest quality construction and fit. The following warranties apply per product category, under normal recreational use and proper care, on materials and workmanship from the original purchase date:
Wetsuits: 1 YEAR from original purchase date on all seams, 1 YEAR from original purchase date on neoprene.
UV, Accessories, Apparel: 3 MONTHS from original purchase date.
Xcel is the only party authorised to determine warranty eligibility. Submitting a warranty claim does not guarantee repair or replacement. Product sent to us for warranty will be evaluated for repair (or replacement) at Xcel’s sole discretion.
The following circumstances will not be covered under warranty:
Repairs, or alterations, to any area of the product done or attempted by anyone other than an authorised Xcel repair facility. Products classified as seconds, samples, or used. Damage from sunlight, chlorine, improper recreational use or care, or any damage beyond the product’s natural life expectancy. Warranty claim requests without valid proof of purchase. UV, Accessories, and/or Apparel products over 3 months from the original purchase date.
Gul
Our warranties only apply to Wetsuits purchased from authorised Gul retailers (with original purchase receipt from an authorised retailer). Without limitation to this, our warranties do not apply to products purchased from non-authorised online retailers, for example eBay or similar auction sites as we have no certainty as to where such products are sourced and how they have been treated.

Not covered by warranty:
- Damage caused by anything other than defects in materials or workmanship.
- Use in commercial, rental, teaching or instructional programs or activities.
- Damage caused by extended or excessive exposure to sunlight, improper handling or storage, or failure to follow care instruction provided with this product.
- This product when classified as being second-hand or it is being sold as a product with existing defects.
- Fit issues that arise after the wetsuit has been used.
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches and fading.
- Wetsuits repaired by other repair service.
Our wetsuit warranty does not cover upgrading your older Gul wetsuit to a current model. We are continuously improving our designs and materials, but that doesn’t make your existing wetsuit unsatisfactory. It just means that the next one you buy will be even better than the last.
